Dealing with your Career

Now, not later or tomorrow

Let’s face it, if you want to be an actor you’re choosing failure for a living. You will go into an audition room and chances are you will not book it. You are trying to win the lottery when you try to book a role on a major tv show or movie.

So we can sulk about it and get our hopes down or we could do something it. Something to change the odds in our favor. And what is that?

You go into any freaking room from this moment on and you say screw it and go strong with your choices, intentions, and circumstances. You only have one chance to book this. Now go into that room with that casting director and own it. Show them what you got.

I am not talking about being arrogant or a know it all. I am talking about showing casting, the producers and the world that you worked hard to prepare for the audition and are more than capable of showing them who the hell you are and capability of carrying this role. Nobody is going to spoon feed you anything.

You have to work hard and take. The question is, will you?
